Pieces are dispatched from utkarshita's atelier in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. This policy sets out where utkarshita delivers, how delivery estimates are determined, and what charges apply.
Scope. This policy applies to all orders placed on utkarshita for delivery within India. It forms part of the Terms of Service and should be read with the Cancellations & Returns Policy.
1.Serviceable area
utkarshita delivers to serviceable pincodes within India. Serviceability is determined per pincode and is evaluated at checkout against the delivery address supplied.
- 1(a)Where a pincode is serviceable, the estimated delivery window for that pincode is displayed before the order is placed.
- 1(b)Where a pincode is not serviceable, checkout will state so and the order will not be accepted. utkarshita does not accept orders it cannot fulfil.
- 1(c)The serviceable area is extended as the logistics network permits. Serviceability is determined at the time of checkout and is not guaranteed in advance of it.
2.Delivery estimates
The estimated delivery date presented at checkout is specific to the delivery pincode and accounts for both dispatch and transit. Handloom is produced by hand; estimates are stated on that basis.
An estimate is an estimate and not a guaranteed delivery date. Dispatch progress is made available on the order record in the customer's account.
3.Charges
The total presented at checkout is the total payable. Any applicable delivery charge is included in that total and displayed before payment is authorised; no charge is added after an order is placed.
- 3(a)Delivery is currently provided at no charge to serviceable pincodes.
- 3(b)Prices are stated in Indian Rupees and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
4.Payment on delivery
Cash on Delivery is offered where both the cart and the delivery pincode are eligible. Eligibility is determined at checkout and is displayed before the order is placed.
